The Half Hour News Hour...

...premieres tonight at 7pm. It remains to be seen whether I will praise it, mock it severely, or just say 'meh...'

I enjoyed their first two efforts, a lot. Needs work, and a more topical tone, but I have hopes.

Lefties and other dipshits will brutally assault it, of course. That is to be expected.

Fox has done very well with Red Eye. I am totally addicted. It is the best show of its kind I've ever seen on television. I record them all (it's past my bet-time) and the wife and I enjoy them the next day during the dinner hour.

I got a call from my Mom while I was writing this. Her usual depressive/manipulative bullshit about canceling the festivities (lunch at Ruby Tuesday's, which I despise) because it was all 'wearing her out (have I mentioned lately how much I hate old people?) so I said fine (ecstatic to be 'off the hook') and then she said 'well, we could go to [this breakfast place my Dad really likes] and I immediately saw my Dad's evil, manipulative fat paws in all this (I pity my sister...she tries so hard) and now I'm pissed, because at least Ruby Tuesday's sells liquour, so there was some hope of me retaining my sanity, and this other place doesn't sell booze, so...

Pity me. Plus, the waitress is a bitch.
