I picked a good day to be sick. Blogger is all messed up, I don't even know if this will post.
I was hungry a bit ago, and the wife had bought some Apple Jacks (the new ones, with the marshmallow eyeballs) and they were pretty darned good, and I whoopsed them all up a bit ago, and now I just want to lay down and die.
Because I know you are dying to know, my puke was full of mucous. Yellow, bilious-looking slime, separate from the green foam the Apple Jacks had rendered into. I haven't been able to wear my CPAP for over a week, and the resultant snoring causes post-nasal drip to flow down into my gut, and that stuff doesn't digest, or pass through (which would be cool). Nope, it waits down there, and then at some point or other in the morning, it takes the express elevator to my esophagus, and I better be near a bathroom, baby, or somebody's gonna be wearing it.
Ugh. I'd take Benadryl, but that puts me in a damned if I do damned if I don't situation. As I've said, that stuff goes straight to my big brain and knocks me on my ass. I'm thinking I'll just drink something first thing in the morning that won't taste all that bad on the return trip, maybe even improve the experience, like Ginger Ale or 7-Up or something. Pick my battle, and get it over with.
I'm really not thrilled with the idea of becoming dependent on nasal spray, but that might be the way I end up going. Anybody out there a sinus sufferer? Got a good product to recommend? This is all new territory for me. I take medication for high blood pressure, so that takes a lot of things off the list I can eat, drink, and otherwise ingest. Too bad, cuz I love grapefruit juice, and I can't drink it anymore.
Oh well, I see Blogger is still spazzing out. Wendy says she'll kill me if I switch over to Blogger Beta, because it sucks. Any other Blogger blogger disagree? I suspect they are trying to force us holdouts to conform, and punish us with outages and weirdness. That's what I'd do.
If I don't see you for a while, you know why.
Have a shiny day...
I write the above, and post it, go to my blog, and it's like nothing ever was wrong. Wild.
